About the Illustrator                                                                                                                        
     Donna M. Aloia was born and raised in a small coastal town in Massachusetts. She attributes her artistic style to her deep love for the sea and horses. She was drawn to art at an exceptionally early age. Primarily self-taught, Donna spent most of her free time drawing to develop her gift and love of riding and being with  horses. Eventually, earning a  degree in Equestrian Science and later on riding under the watchful eye of two dressage Olympians. Like her life and art, the ocean can be calm and still or rough and rigid, but in the end, it is always beautiful. With these passions many paths were presented . As her personal style developed in art ,An artist of the “now century,” she has blended her talent into healing. Currently, the owner of Waters Edge Healing Arts & Music.(www.watersedgehealingarts.com ) .Her visionary idea provides inner and outer healing through Art Music, Massage, Yoga and Sound Healing ,Adding to her many talents, she is a Health Coach and Instructor for both Massage  and Yoga..Coaching with Horses has recently been added ,helping out people with trauma and PTSD ,
  Specializing now in impressionistic portraits of people, pets, and figurative work, especially those of dance. For this book, she utilized computer aides to create the digitally enhanced images. Donna is living and loving with her family, husband Joe and daughters Sarah and Arianna, on her ranch just outside of San Antonio, Texas.
